The Professional Gamer - February 8, 2014

This week brought the actual arrival Bravely Default. However, that arrival was delayed for me until about 1 hour ago. Consequently, I haven't actually had time to play it yet. But, I did manage to do some other geeky things. Read on to find out more.

Playing: While waiting for Bravely Default I have essentially quite playing with my 3DS. Now that I have a shiny new game, I anticipate that I will spend lots more time with a DS in hand this week.

Watching: I've spent most of my time this week watching What Not to Wear and TopGear while working on studying for the PE exam. Honestly, not much geekiness there, but still a lot of fun.

Reading: I'm still working my way through Frankenstein. I'm about halfway through the book, and finally have some real screentime with the Monster. I did not anticipate that there would be so much story without the Monster. The plot seems to be picking up a bit more now, and I think that will help me get through the remainder of the book more quickly.

Finally, my studying is going well. I'm about halfway through my soils engineering text book and then will start reviewing the more general civil engineering book that I have. However, I can see the test approaching quickly, and definitely need to keep myself on task.

That's all for this week. Embrace your geekiness, and Game On!
