The Professional Gamer - March 13, 2015

Wow, its been a busy week.  In between trying to keep my projects on time and keep all of the clients happy, I haven't had a huge amount of time for goofing off.  But, I have spent some time reading some graphic novels, playing a little bit of video games, and continuing to watch some older anime.

Watching: I spent most of my TV time this week finishing up The Slayers.  However, between several hours on the weekend and a few more hours on Thursday night, I binged most of Adventure Time Season 6.  The series is still really great with a balanced mixed of cute, funny, and indescribably weird.  The two episodes that come to mind for that last one are the ones featuring Lemongrab and Ice King.  I'm still not sure what I think about all the weirdness, but I think I need to watch those episodes again.

Reading: I've ended up taking a break from Black Hole, and instead spent the week reading Avatar: The Last Airbender "The Search", and Poorcraft.  I'm gonna try to get some more detailed reviews of those both up here soon, but for now, I'll say that both are worth reading.  I have two more of the Avatar graphic novels in the docket and have starting reading the recently published Poorcaft: Wish You Were Here.  The Poorcraft sequel is all about travel, so I'm looking forward to learning some more about how to travel on the cheap.

Playing: Crystal and I haven't spent much time playing Hyrule Warriors this week.  I spent a small portion of my free time playing Fantasy Life and Guild Wars 2.  I don't really have a lot to report on either case.  The games are lots of fun still, but its harder to enjoy them when you don't have a big chunk of time to devote to them.

That's what I've got going this week.  My project work is pretty relentless, so I may not have a lot of time for geeking out this week, but I know I'll do a bit.  And you can read about it here next week.  Game on!
