/Hi folks! Sorry about the lack of posts on my end. I was travelling last week and just felt way to tired to talk about anything. I also felt like I hadn’t done much. I spent a few minutes playing Warcraft in the evening, but didn’t feel like I had much to practically report about it. This week went a little better in terms of recreational activities. I spent a lot of time trying to finish up My Hero Academia before the new season of anime comes on in full force. With that said, let’s talk about the second half of this season of My Hero and then a little bit about what I’ve been doing in Warcraft,
Sometimes I’m not sure how much I enjoyed the format of most of the episodes of My Hero Academia this season. Many of the episodes were basically a single fight where we (the audience) learns more about the characters involved in it. About the time of the “Red Riot” episode, it felt very formulaic. However, by the end of the season, as we build to Le Million’s sacrifice and Deku’s big fight with the villains, I was on board again. I also think we have seen some very interesting quirks (both new and growth of existing) this season. And I will add that Chisaki is a very good villain: he absolutely believes that what he is doing will create a better world, and that is why he is willing to become such a monster to pursue his goals.
In the world of Warcraft, I’ve been making progress through the Zuldazar storyline, trying to protect the King from his enemies. Or, failing that, bringing him back to life so that we can get vengeance against same enemies. I’ve made some progress with mining and archaeology, but haven’t done much with my other professions yet. I have a lot of game left to play at this point, and I’m doubtful that I’ll really be “caught up” by the time Shadowlands is released, but I’m still having fun. I’m glad that the Nessingwary quests in this zone involved saving him from a hunter, rather than running around destroying all of the wildlife. I mean, my character is a Hunter, but that doesn’t mean that I want to kill every critter in the world. If I have some good downtime here at some point, I think I’ll work on my fishing and cooking a bit. I want to make sure that I have good quality food to keep me at peak performance after all.
And that’s all I have for this week. I’m going to help my wife bake a cake for our friends birthday tomorrow. Have a great week, and game on!
