/Hi readers! Going to keep the article a bit short this week. Today was a day off, but I worked myself pretty hard: first, with a trip to the dentist and barber, and later working outside on some garden projects. So, I considerably more tired than I would be on the average Friday night. Let’s get right to it and talk about what I’ve been up to this past week.
First, I’ve been continuing my watch through Run With the Wind, the anime all about running long distances. The most recent episodes have been about the team competing in a qualifying meet. The more I watch it, the more I can tell that the creators have a real love for the sport. I’m getting close to the end of the series now, and am looking forward to the conclusion. And my knee is finally doing a lot better, so I’m enjoying running a lot more too.
This Thursday, I went to the “Distant Worlds” performance by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Final Fantasy, the music was well performed and fun to listen to. I enjoyed the “Symphony of the Goddess” more, but I think that is more about my emotional attachment to The Legend of Zelda. After all, I’ve played a lot of Zelda games all the way through, but I tend to play Final Fantasy games for only about 10 hours before I give up on them. The few exceptions that I’ve had at the Gameboy Advance remake of the original Final Fantasy and Tactics Advanced and Tactics A2. For those games, I played them a lot more, but I still did’t actually finish them.
There’s not much else for me to report, except that we are one month out from Denver Pop Culture Con (formerly Denver Comic Con), and things are going to be hectic around here. Have a great week and game on.
