Best Game of 2011

And here we are, at the last article for The Second Annual Gameslave Awards.  Here is where we award the best game of 2011.  There were many contenders for this game, as a number of great games came out this year.  But there can only be one.  Your nominees for best game of 2011 are:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Batman: Arkham City
Star Wars: The Old Republic

This was not that hard of choice to make.  The Best Game of 2011 goes to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Between the massive land you have to explore, the number of ways you can build your character, and the amount of hours you can sink into this game it is amazing.  With an estimated 300 hours of gameplay that comes out to about $0.20 per hour of entertainment.  Mix that with a number of different story lines that are all individually realized, this is without a doubt the best game of 2011.
