At E3 the official announcement finally came out. Kingdom Hearts III was in production. And now, 4 months later, we have an official trailer with gameplay. And yes, that looks like one of the Titans from Hercules being fought from a magical train.
The thing about us gamers, is that we are an impatient bunch. Most often when a new game comes out we want to play it immediately. But we also have new consoles coming out, and we want to make sure that we have something to play on these new consoles. Too bad some of the most anticipated games of the season will come out before the new consoles are released. Sony is well aware of this and has come up with a compromise for us.
They are offering a program with four games, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghost, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Watch_Dogs. Now Watch_Dogs is a bad example of this as it comes out on the PS4 before it comes out for anything else. But Black Flag and Battlefield 4 come out on 10/29/2013 while Ghost comes out on 11/05/2013. So if you buy any of these 4 games for the PS3, you will get a digital copy for your PS4. You don't even need a PS4 to get it setup. Since E3, Microsoft and the Xbox One has been talked about a lot; not about how amazing their console was but how the power compared to the PS4 was not up to par. People have been saying that the PS4 is 50% more powerful when it comes to raw graphics. Well today gamers and put a little simile on their faces because it was announced that Microsoft, was able to increase their GPU clock speed as they get closer to launch. Let’s Talk...
Out of all the games that were showcased at E3 2013, the one that I was looking forward to the most was Watch Dogs. My friend and I waited in line for the live demo for a total of three hours. Was the wait worth it? Most people would say no, but I left the demo with more excitement to purchase the final version.
Walking around the Warner Brothers area at E3, I was surprised to see a title I hadn't even heard of prior to my visit to LA. Being a sucker for zombie games, I decided to check it out on the final day. Is Dying Light just another rehash zombie game, or did it show some potential in the live demo? Read on to find out.
Need for Speed Rivals is the newest iteration of the popular EA racing franchise. I had the opportunity to play the demo while at E3 on the PS4. The NFSR demo area had three bays, with each bay comprising of three cops and three racers. For you non math majors out there, including me, there were a total of nine racers and nine police officers. The nine racers can go about their business competing in various races while the police officers can initiate a police chase at any time. This is a pretty cool feature implemented into NFSR. Guild Wars 2, Dead Space 3 and whatever else is on the docit for this week.

The day has come that Sony promised. The day that they show us what they have planned for the next generation of gaming. So what have the offered us?
How about we start with hardware. The PS4 is set to have a PC architecture to allow for much easier development of games.
