The Professional Gamer - November 16, 2019

Hi readers! This weekend I’m at DakuCon, and I’ll have some coverage from that posted next week. Right now, let’s talk about what else I’ve been playing and doing this week.

My seasonal anime choices this week included My Hero Academia, Ascendance of a Bookworm, and Kemono Michi. I’ve been enjoying these series a lot this season. The latest episode of My Hero had me getting a bit misty eyed at discussions about mortality. Kemono Michi just continues to be super funny. And Ascendance is an interesting fantasy/drama type show. I enjoy the somewhat more realistic take on the fantasy world, that has just a hint of magic.

In other news, my wife was showing me Griffin McElroy’s Peacecraft run through (which is delightful, and if you haven’t watched it yet, you should). But, watching that finally got me over my resistance, and I subscribed to World of Warcraft again. Having been gone for more since Cataclysim, there have been a whole lot of changes to the game. Most of which, I actually like a lot. Quality of life in the release version of WoW is really good actually. At this point, I'm going to pay my subscription month-by-month, since I can’t be sure that I’ll keep it up for that long, but its been a fun diversion this week at least.

I hope you are having fun this week too. Have a great time and game on!
