The Professional Gamer - December 28, 2015

Hello and Happy Holiday's!  I hope you all have had a fun, spent time with people that you care about and got to goof off a bit.  I've spent some time away from work, spending time with my family, watching some television and movies, and playing some games.  I love how much easier it is to be a geek when time is a less limited resource.

To start, I've gotten to the fourth season of Community.  I'm still having a lot of fun with it, although I feel that the characters are sometimes not written consistently.

In big news (for me), I've been to the theater for the first time in a year.  I suppose, most of you could guess the film that got me out of my secret mountain laboratory: Star Wars.  The Force Awakens was a lot of fun.  I won't spoil anything.  Simply put, if you liked Episode 4 through 6, you are very likely to enjoy this new Star Wars.

In related Star Wars news, I was so drunk on child-like enthusiasm, that I purchased Knights of the Old Republic a few hours after I got home from watching The Force Awakens.  I also picked up some of the old Extended Universe novels from the library (namely Shadows of the Empire and Heir to the Empire).  I also may have gone into a bit of a Star Wars fanatic state.

That's all I've got for this week.  My next article will be in the new year.  Have a great week and game on!
