The Professional Gamer - January 24, 2014

This week I spent some time with my various geeky pursuits, mostly reading and gaming. I actually spent some time on PS4, which is not typical for me. Read on to find out more.

Reading: This week i picked up a digital copy of Salt, Sugar, Fat and am beginning to understand the arms race that has lead to our current situation with regards to processed foods. Honestly, I am rather glad that I have moved to preparing a lot of my own food rather than relying on big manufacturers.

Gaming: A marathon Pokemon session on Sunday led to little gaming during the rest of the week. However, I did end up visiting IrishPride last night to play some Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Injustice: Gods Among Us. MvC2 is about how I remember it being. Full of button mashing. Injustice is a much more refined game where a certain degree of finesse is required. Both are enjoyable games. I especially enjoyed the interactive environment in Injustice.

Watching: This past week, my TV viewing has been confined to regularly viewing The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. That's all I have to report on this week. Have a great week, and game on!
