The Professional Gamer - June 10, 2019

I’m going to have a very short post this week. I was at Denver Pop Culture Con last weekend, but spent almost all of my time helping Crystal with her table. Then, I shipped off to Hawaii for a week of reviewing our construction plans for some road repairs. During the field work, I didn’t have a lot of time to myself. I did bring my 3DS and spent some of my time on the plane with Final Fantasy Tactics A2. I’m finally stuck in a place where I actually have to advance the main plot. All of the other jobs available to me are either too easy or too hard. I’m opening up a lot more classes to play, and hoping that I can start to find some really cool synergies.

Hello, and welcome to another week of The Professional Gamer. This week, I took a trip to California and spent about 8 hours driving through the National Forest in one day. On a related note, I listened to every podcast that I had saved on my player. Meaning, that I’m much closer to catching up to all of podcast backlog. So, that' makes me feel pretty good. My other fun time has been very limited, due to spending all that time driving.

Hi everyone! A short article this week due to some travel at the end of the week. I didn't have a lot of time to geek out this week, but I did get a chance to see this handsome guy:

I watched the latest episode of Yuri!! On Ice just a few minutes before sitting down to write, so I'm still processing the episode (especially the stinger). At this point, I anticipating that next week will be the last episode, which I'm thinking will be an early Christmas present to all of us fans.

The Professional Gamer - August 15, 2016

Hello readers! This has been the week were I spent most of my time away from home.  In fact, I was in Hawaii to visit a project site.  But, I was away from most of games and media for the week.  But let's talk a little bit about what I did do.

Hilo reminded me a lot of my time in the smaller towns of New Zealand, just a little more tropical and with more palm trees.  But there are lots of tiny roads, including one lane bridges, and the underlying current of a Polynesian culture.  I was able to spend some time hunting for Pokemon while I was there.  And due to the different real world environment, I was able to catch a lot of pokemon that I haven't seen near my home.
