I may be getting older. Convention recovery has moved from a one day affair to an almost week long malaise. I'm finally getting back into the normal routine of life and work now. I'm going to do a write up on Colorado Anime Fest soon. Later, I'll start editing the podcasts in order to post them starting next week. For now, let's talk about what I've been doing in my recovery free time.

As I mentioned last week, I've started watching My Hero Academia and it is really great. I'm into the later half of the second season. I love this story, especially Midoriya. I love his willingness to self-sacrifice for others benefit. Not just save people, but to push the other heroes around him to become the best version of themselves. Similar to Food WarsHero Aca places a lot of emphasis on hard work and self-improvement. Even the students with strong quirks, still have to spend a lot of time developing their skills, control of their powers, and their understanding of combats and tactics. The production company also has a great understanding of how and where to blow their animation budget, making some really impressive fight scenes.

Last night, I watched the last episode of The Ancient Magus' Bride, and I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the ending. There was some great build-up towards the climax, and then everything was just lackluster after that. I'll wait a few more weeks before I give more details, so I don't spoil the actual content for anyone. But, if you've been following the series since the beginning: I'm sorry.

I'm going to start getting that Colorado Anime Fest article and podcasts put together. Look for those to come out soon. Have a great week and game on!
